Services We Provide
Richmond Township is responsible for the upkeep of the road system
serving our residents. Our Road Crew is comprised of four men to
accomplish this task.
The Township Secretary manages the income and expenses of the
township funds under the direction of the three supervisors. The
secretary also handles Transient Worker Permits, Oversize
Overweight Permits, SubDivisions Applications, Stormwater and Land
Development Applications and Road Bonding.
Driveway Permits and Road Opening Permits are issued with advice
from the Road Master.
The Zoning Officer issues permits for: Zoning, Signs and Demolition.
The Building Code Officer (Gary Jenkins 607-329-5820) issues
permits for: Building - both commercial and residential in Richmond
Township and 16 other municipalities.
Our recycling center is open from:
Noon to 4:00 PM on Wednesdays
and 8:00 AM to Noon on Saturdays.
Aluminum cans, metal cans, clear, green and brown glass,
most clear plastics (1 - 7) all must be clean, soap bottles, milk jugs,
corrugated cardboard flattened, magazines, newspapers, mixed paper
and "junk mail". There are some items we are unable to recycle - Cindy
keeps a list of these.

We sell NTSWA trash stickers - $3 a piece or sheet of 10 for $30.
